Description:
The Birth Centre is located within Aspen Ward, on level three of the hospital. The team of midwives and support staff endeavour to provide a holistically satisfying experience within a peaceful less medicalised atmosphere, for women during their labour and postnatal period.
There is a triage room, two delivery rooms with plumbed in birthing pools and a dry room, for those not wishing to use water. In labour there are birthing balls, stalls and couches to encourage a mobile upright birth. The four bedded postnatal bay is there for your stay following delivery of your baby.
